A nice list of things to put in a car emergency kit

We will probably be getting AAA, but to keep in mind:


Some of the basic items include:

• 12-foot jumper cables
• Four 15-minute roadside flares
• Two quarts of oil
• Gallon of antifreeze
• Extra fuses
• Extra headlights
• Flashlight and extra batteries
• Flat head screwdrivers
• Phillips head screwdrivers
• Pliers
• Vise Grips
• Car jack
• Adjustable wrench
• Tire inflator/tire pressure gauge (I have the 2-in-1)
• Rags
• Roll of paper towels
• Roll of duct tape
• Spray bottle with washer fluid (you wont believe how this comes in handy when shit cuts out)
• Pocketknife/Leatherman
• Heavy-duty nylon bag to carry it all in

    Hey, I have jumper cables, a flashlight, leatherman, a spray bottle for washer fluid, a car jack (i think that's what it is at least), and extra washer fluid.

    AWESOME. I was debating about the car jack if we got AAA, but it might come in handy in case we wouldn't get cell phone service...I dunno.
